Elena Baez obtained her doctorate in 2009 at the Center for Research in Food and Development CIAD, AC through a joint work CIAD-University of Arizona. She is currently PITC, Holder C, of the area of Microbiology of the Faculty of Biological Chemical Sciences (FCQB) of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS)
