Dr. Delon Alain Omrow is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ontario Tech University. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in criminology from York University and the University of Toronto, respectively. Dr. Omrow worked with Conservation International Guyana, overseeing the establishment of the country\u2019s first community-owned conservation area and is the author of A History of Discursive Violence: constructing the Amerindian \u2018other\u2019. He teaches in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities at Ontario Tech University, exploring what he refers to as racialized ecologies, the androcentric-anthropocentric symbiosis of trauma, and the way the lived experiences of the disempowered and marginalized are articulated through contemporary environmental discourse. In addition, he has written for numerous publications, including The European Journal of Research and Reflection in Arts and Humanities and The International Journal of Academic Research and Reflection.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
