Patient-generated health data (PGHD) refers to health information that is collected and reported by patients themselves, outside of traditional healthcare settings. This data can include a wide range of information such as symptoms, medication adherence, lifestyle factors, and readings from personal health devices like glucose monitors, blood pressure cuffs, or fitness trackers. PGHD is increasingly used to complement clinical data, providing a more comprehensive view of a patient’s health. It can help in monitoring chronic conditions, personalizing treatment plans, and improving patient engagement. By integrating PGHD with clinical data, healthcare providers can gain valuable insights for better decision-making and more tailored care
