Valeria Righi is a researcher at the University of Bologna since 2012. She is professor of biochemistry. Her research activity is focused on metabolomics sciences through the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). She was involved in the study of cerebral cancer pathologies and the gastrointestinal system cancer diseases. Recently, she has focused her attention on skin diseases (in particular those defined as non-melanoma skin cancer) to the study of tissues and bio-fluids and also to diseases linked to behavioural disorders due to food.
