Currently is a Full Professor at the State University of Southwest Bahia (UESB), teaching in the Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Animal Science, and Biological Sciences programs.Currently is a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences (PPGCA) and serves as the Local Coordinator of the Multicenter Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PMBqBM). Her research focuses on microbial metabolism and genetics, as well as biotechnology, particularly in fermentation processes for bioproduct production. She collaborates with the Innovation and Biotechnology Laboratory (InBiotec).
