Lotfi Ben Romdhane is a Professor in computer science with a major specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Social Networks Analysis. He is currently affiliated with the University of Sousse, Tunisia. He is co-founder of and is actually heading MARS (Modeling of Automated Reasoning Systems) research lab specialized in the design and analysis of complex systems. His research activities span the general area of intelligent systems and are focusing actually on social networks analysis, influence maximization, information diffusion and community detection in social graphs. His work has been published in well-known specialized international journals and conferences. Lotfi obtained the Ph.D. degree from the University of Sherbrooke, QC, Canada with excellent honors; and have been added to the Honor list of the University of Sherbrooke for excellence in research. He has been awarded the CIDA Doctoral fellowship. He is currently member of the Senate of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI)

Professor Yung-Kang Shen received his Ph.D. degree from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1995. He has been a Professor at the School of Dental Technology at Taipei Medical University (TMU) since 2014. He has been a Chairman of the School of Dental Technology of TMU since 2018. He is also the Director of the Bio-Medical Nano/Micro Forming Lab of TMU, the Researcher of the Nano Tissue Engineering and Image Research Center of Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH), the Researcher of the Sleep Research Center of Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH), the Researcher of the Department of Otolaryngology of Taiwan Adventist Hospital (TAH). He is the Chairman of the Taiwan Oral Biomedical Engineering Association, Co-Organizing Directors for the Asia Pacific Society for Materials Research (APSMR), Co-Organizing Directors for the Asia Pacific Society for Biology and Medical Sciences (APSBMS), the Supervisor of SME Taipei Chapter and the Director of Taiwan Society for Abrasive Technology. He has been an Adjunct Professor of University Airlangga (Indonesia) since 2022. He has been an Adjunct Professor of University Hasanuddin (Indonesia) since 2020. He has been a Guest Professor at Zhejiang University of Technology (China) since 2017. He has been a Part-time Professor at Shandong University (China) since 2016. He has been a Visiting Professor at Changchun University of Science and Technology (China) since 2012. Professor Shen is a project review committee member of the National Science and Technology Council (Taiwan). His research includes digital dentistry, metamaterial, scaffold fabrication (PCL/graphene), 3D/4D/5D printing, biomedical nano/micro forming technology, medical bionics design and manufacturing, and animal models for medicine therapy. Now, he has published more than 140 journal papers and 120 conference papers. Professor Shen has served as the Plenary Speaker or keynote speaker at more than 30 international seminars. Professor Shen was awarded the Best Paper Award for the 3rd International Forum on Systems and Mechatronics in Singapore in 2010. He was also awarded the First Prize in Poster Presentation Award for the 2nd Research Week-International Symposium 2012 of COM on Dental Technology, Oral Health Care, and Biomedical Devices in Taipei in 2012. He was also awarded the Most Cited Article Award, 2012 to 2013 for “International Journal of Precision Engineering and Manufacturing” (SCI Journal). Professor Shen was awarded the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022-side by side of lifetime scientific influence (Stanford University). Professor Shen currently serves as the Editorial Board for Polymers (SCI Journal), Biology, Engineering and Medicine; Journal of Precision Medicine and Public Health; Open Access Journal of Science and Technology; International Open Access Journal of Translational Medicine; International Journal of Manufacturing Engineering; Japanese Journal of Medical Science and International Journal of Translational Science & Research.

Zhiguo ZENG received the Ph.D. degree in reliability engineering from Beihang university in 2016. He is currently a full professor at CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay, France. His research focuses on the characterization and modeling of the failure/repair/maintenance behavior of components, complex systems and their reliability, maintainability, prognostics, safety, vulnerability and security. Dr. ZENG is an author/co-author of more than 80 papers in highly recognized international journals and conferences (including over 40 journal papers indexed in Web of Science). He is editorial board member of International Journal of Data Analysis Techniques and Strategies, and the leading guest editor of the special issue on “Dependent failure modeling” of the journal Applied Science. His research has been funded by renowned research agencies like French Research Council and European Research Council, and also companies like EDF, SNCF, Orange and GE Healthcare.

Dr Geoffrey Mitchell is Professor and Coordinator Researcher at the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development at the Polytechnic of Leiria in Portugal. He is Adjunct Professor at the Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, in Mysore India, Visiting Medical Physicist, Oxford University Hospitals Trust, Oxford UK and Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Reading in the UK. His eclectic research work bridges material science, physics, biology, chemistry, computer simulation and technology and he is passionate about the opportunities which arise from additive manufacturing. He has pioneered the development of in-situ time-resolving neutron and x-ray scattering procedures to evaluate the structural and morphological transformations involved during manufacturing including Reaction Injection Moulding and Injection Moulding of semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymers and biopolymers. He plans to use this to develop a multiscale digital twin for injection moulding. He has applied this approach to 3D printing to develop the concept of morphology mapping. He is actively engaged in the digitialisation of materials He is a strong advocate for Climate Change and the challenges of sustainability. He has edited a number of books, the most recent “Controlling the Morphology of Polymers” and “Electrospinning – Principles, Practise and Possibilities” with a second edition to be published in 2024. He currently writing a book in partnership with Professor Mahadevappa Kariduraganavar at Karnatak University in Dharwad India on “Design, Processing and Degradation of Plastics”.

Yu-Chen Hu received his PhD. degree in computer science and information engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan. Currently, He is a Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Information Management at Tunghai University and he is a senior member of IEEE. He is also a member of Computer Vision, Graphics, and Image Processing (CVGIP), Chinese Cryptology and Information Security Association (CCISA), Computer Science and Information Management (CSIM) and Phi Tau Phi Society of the Republic of China. He joins the editorial boards of Advances in Multimedia (Hindawi), Electronics (MDPI), IET Image Processing, Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing (Tech Science Press), Mathematical Problems in Engineering (Hindawi), etc. His research interests include data compression, image processing, information hiding, information security, computer network, deep learning, and bioinformatics.

Dr. Vijayan K. Asari is a Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Ohio Research Scholars Endowed Chair in Wide Area Surveillance at the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio, USA. He is the director of the Center of Excellence for Computational Intelligence and Machine Vision (Vision Lab) at UD. Dr. Asari received his M Tech and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1984 and 1994 respectively. Prior to joining the University of Dayton in February 2010, Dr. Asari worked as Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia for 10 years. Dr. Asari worked at National University of Singapore during 1996-98 and led a research team for the development of a vision-guided micro-robotic endoscopy system. He also worked at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore during 1998-2000 and led the computer vision and image processing related research activities in the Center for High Performance Embedded Systems at NTU.Dr. Asari had been working as Assistant Professor in electronics and communications at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam until he left for Singapore in 1996. Dr. Asari holds five United States patents and has published more than 750 research articles including an edited book in wide area surveillance and 135 peer-reviewed journal papers in the areas of image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, neural networks and high-performance embedded systems. Dr. Asari has supervised 32 PhD dissertations and 48 MS theses during his tenure. Currently several graduate students are working with him in different sponsored research projects. He has been participating in various federal and private funded research projects and he has so far managed around $27M research funding. Dr. Asari received several teaching, research, advising and technical leadership awards. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an elected Fellow of SPIE, and member of several international societies including the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society and Society for Imaging Science and Technology. Dr. Asari is a co-organizer of several SPIE and IEEE conferences and workshops.

Professor Tomonobu Senjyu was born in Saga Prefecture, Japan, in 1963. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from University of the Ryukyus, Nishihara, Japan, in 1986 and 1988, respectively; and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 1994. He is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at University of the Ryukyus. He is an active scholar that runs and manage smoothly the industry by graduating theoretical and practical human resource. He has supervised tens of Ph.D. dissertations since 2004. His students are actively involved in the industry and academic fields throughout the world. He is leading the Power Energy System Control Laboratory (PESC) that demonstrates with recent technology and novel research outcomes. His laboratory publishes several peer-review journals each year. He has more than 500 peer-review publications in the high-ranking academic databases. His editorial contribution has been salient with many international journals. His nonstop support contributes to humanitarian and enhances academic affairs. Most of his students are from developing countries that pursue their studies under the Japan government scholarships. His research interests are in the areas of renewable energy, power system optimization and operation, power electronics, and advanced control of electrical machines.

Dr Ricardo Femat was born in Orizaba, México, in 1968. He received the Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the Autonomous Metropolitan University Iztapalapa Unit (UAM-I), Mexico, in 1997, and former the President of the Mexican Academy of Sciences at Center Zone . He has been a Professor with the University of San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and in the Applied Mathematics Division (AMD), Instituto Potosino de Investigación Científica Tecnológica (IPICYT), San Luis Potosí. He was the Head of AMD from May 2006 to December 2015 and had been the General Director with IPICYT (December 2015 – 2018). His research interests include chaos suppression and synchronization, control of chemical processes, and dynamics and control of nonlinear systems. Dr. Femat received the Medal of Academic Merit by UAM-I and he has been the President with the Asociation Mexicana de Control Automation (a national member for IFAC) and a Member with Directive Board at the Sociedad Matemática Mexicana.

Dr Manuel González Canché joined the Higher Education division as an associate professor in 2017. At Penn GSE he also serves as affiliated faculty with the Human Development and Quantitative Methods division and the International Educational Development Program. Prof Manuel is currently Associate Professor at University of Pennsylvania. He has secured funding for research from the Spencer Foundation, the American Education Research Association/National Science Foundation, the Association for Institutional Research, and the Institute of Education Sciences. Manuel González Canché brings an innovative set of tools — including econometric, geospatial, and network analysis methods — to study the structural factors that influence minority and at-risk students’ likelihood of success, including less access to financial, academic, and social resources. He aims to identify plans of action capable of closing these social and economic gaps.

Professor Tortora has been a full professor of Computer Science at University of Salerno since 1990, owner of the courses of Databases (Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science) and Databases II (Master’s Degree in Computer Science) and IOT Data Analytics (Internet Of Things Curriculum of the Master’s Degree in Computer Science) . You are scientific director of the Laboratory on Context Aware IntelligentSystems, in the Department of Computer Science. His interests include Databases and big data, Data mining, Software engineering, Visual languages and man-machine interaction, Artificial intelligence and image processing, Geographic information systems. She is the author or co-author of more than 290 articles published in international journals and conference proceedings. She is a member of the editorial board of high quality international scientific journals. Member of the Steering Committee of the IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages. Program Chair and member of the Program Committee of several international conferences. Senior Fellow of the IEEE Computer Society, member of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interaction. Member of EATCS (European Association of Theoretical Computer Science) Member of IAPR (International Association of Pattern Recognition). Reviewer for several international scientific journals. Member of the editorial board of various international journals.

Dr. Yoo is currently Full Professor with tenure in the School of Electrical Engineering and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Since 1999, he has been on the faculty at the Korea Advance Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He also served as Dean of the Office of Special Projects and Dean of the Office of International Relations and a consultant for the Korean Foundation for Advance Studies (one of the oldest and largest scholarship foundations in Korea). He is also Director of Korea Institute of Electrical Engineers (KIEE) and Director of the Acoustical Society of Korea (ASK). From March 2005 to March 2006, he was a visiting scholar to the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) at MIT. He is Member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Xi. He was on the technical committee member of IEEE machine learning for signal processing society from 2009 to 2011. He had also served as Associated Editor of IEEE Signal Processing Letters (2011-2012), IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (2012-2013), IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing (2011-2014). From Nov. 2015, he has been on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Signal Processing Systems. To this date, he has supervised 55 MS and 15 Ph.D students and is currently supervising 8 MS and 8 Ph.D students. He has taught Digital Signal Processing, Digital Speech Processing, Machine learning for a number of years. His current research interests include the application of digital signal processing and machine learning theories in multimedia processing and digital communications. From January 1997 to March 1999 he was Senior Researcher at Korea Telecom (KT).

Dr.Yudi Guzman Monteza is an Assistant Professor at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) and Reserve Officer in the Air Force of Peru (FAP). She performed an internship at the University of Granada (UGR) in the doctoral program at TIC. Currently, her research area is argument mining which takes part in Natural Language Processing because of her ability to design annotation methods and how to get trust data to be used by linguistic computational models or pre-trained language models under a supervised learning approach. This topic is multidisciplinary because linguistics computational is transversal and useful for all disciplines to understand how a computational model can better understand a human´s natural language. Experience in Artificial Neural Networks, Software Engineering, and Natural Language Processing. Prof. Yudi Guzmán supervises theses including master thesis and thesis, to obtain the engineer grade.

Yuncheng You received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, USA) in 1988. He is a Professor Emeritus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, where he was Surrogate Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in 2016-2020. His main research areas are partial differential equations and applications, infinite-dimensional dynamical systems, and mathematical neuroscience. He was an associate editor for the journals: Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation (2016-2021), Dynamics of Partial Differential Equations (2005-2017), and Journal of Applied Analysis and Computation (2011-2018). He graduated 7 Ph.D. students and published nearly 140 peer-reviewed journal papers including few book chapters. His co-authored book Dynamics of Evolutionary Equations was published by Springer in 2002. His recent research is devoted to mathematical and computational analysis of biological neural networks and artificial neural networks.

Dr. Xenia J. Mamakou is a teaching staff and a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a member of the Business Informatics Laboratory (BILab). Dr. Mamakou has participated in research projects, and she has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of business analytics, databases, decision making, Information Systems, project management, and the Internet. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MSc with Distinction in Business Information Technology from the Department of Computation at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), England, and a PhD in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Experience in the areas of Artificial Neural Network, Production Engineering, Product Design, and Financial Administration; with an emphasis on Strategic Planning and Budget. He currently works in the following subjects: Microeconomics (Production Costs); Financial Engineering (Economics); Product Design Methodology; Production systems; Quality Systems; and Administration and Entrepreneurship.

Aryya Gangopadhyay completed his PhD from Rutgers University. He is a Professor of Information Systems at UMBC. He is also the founding director of the Center for Real-time Distributed Sensing and Autonomy (cards.umbc.edu). He has published nearly 200 peer-reviewed papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of several journals including Electronics. He has graduated 18 PhD students. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, IBM, Army Research Laboratory, Department of Education, and other funding agencies at well over $25 million.

Prof. Patrick Siarry was born on May 28, 1952, in Pertuis. His research area is relatively (since 1982) new “metaheuristic” optimization such as simulated annealing, which are indicated for the so-called problems of “hard optimization” because of their ability to avoid in principle, trapping in sub-optimal solutions. This topic is multidisciplinary in nature, both by the source of the methods studied (physics, biology, ethology). Prof. Siarry has 12 frames at 100% of doctoral theses, including 1 in progress; 9 frames at 50% of doctoral theses, including 6 ongoing; 6 joint supervision of doctoral theses, including 5 courses; 4 frames partial (< 30%) of doctoral theses; 2 research post-doctoral; 18 internships DEA or Master 2 research; 2 stages of “ownership” of the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal; 2 memories Engineer CNAM; 1 team of industrial research project (two engineers and one technician); 10 training engineering degree or master’s and 2 stages of BTS or DUT.
