Nezha Bahkouk is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Technologies (LaRTID), Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakesh, Morocco. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Control and Computing, with a specialization in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University. Her research focuses on non-contact vital sign detection using ultra-wideband (UWB) radar, signal processing, and artificial
intelligence techniques. Her interests include machine learning, deep learning, radar systems, and biomedical signal analysis, particularly in constrained environments. She also has experience in AI-based industrial optimization through her internship at Aptiv Company (Tangier, Morocco), where she developed a dynamic speed control system for Komax cutting machines using machine learning techniques. This project won first place in the Lean OPEX 2.0 Tournament competition in 2025.
