About Biochemistry Conference 2024:

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology are two closely related fields that study the chemical and physical properties, structures, and functions of molecules that make up living organisms. While biochemistry primarily focuses on the chemical processes and reactions that occur within living organisms, molecular biology studies the structure and function of biological macromolecules, such as DNA, RNA, and proteins, that play essential roles in these processes. Together, these fields contribute to our understanding of the complex mechanisms that govern life processes, from the molecular level up to the entire organism. Biochemistry examines the molecular basis of life by studying the chemical and physical properties of biomolecules such as carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and proteins, and how they interact with each other and the environment to carry out specific functions. Molecular Biology also involves the study of various molecular mechanisms such as DNA replication, transcription, and translation that are critical to understanding the regulation and expression of genes.
