Jorge Enrique Chaparro is a Junior Researcher (IJ) and peer reviewer recognized by Colombia’s Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MINCIENCIAS). He holds a PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Universidad de Antioquia, where he also received a scholarship from MINCIENCIAS. He has a Master’s in Information Technology, along with specializations in High-Speed Networks and Distributed Systems, University Teaching, and Electronic Engineering.
Chaparro serves as a Regional Researcher with the Colombian Observatory of Science and Technology (OCyT), contributing to the development of the Departmental Strategic Plan for Science, Technology, and Innovation (PEDCTI) in Casanare. He is a professor at Unitrópico’s Faculty of Engineering and Coordinator of Research Production and Dissemination, as well as the Director of the ICT Department.
